Top 5 questions you need answered by your Hairstylist

1. Do I need a trial run on the hair style of my choice?

Your hairstylist should tell you "no". You do not need a trial run, but it does help if you are choosing a more intricate style. If you are leaving your hair down with big curls, it is hard to mess that one up. If you are on a tight budget, skip the trial run and give your stylist a picture of you and then the hairstyles that you are thinking about for the big day. That will give them a chance to think about what needs to be done on the day of.

2. Is there a certain hairstyle that would work best in my climate?

The answer is no. As long as the stylist uses strong products, your hair should stand any tests the weather throws at it (except water, of course). Your hair really depends on your dress and the headpiece. Make sure to bring your headpiece if you are doing a trial run.

3. How much time should I allow for my hair on the day of?

Usually, it is around 2 hours for the bride. If you are planning on having the stylist do your bridal party, make sure you know an exact number and allow time for each individual. Also, if you have a large bridal party, it is a good idea to have two people doing the hair.

4.
Do you travel for weddings?

Most hairstylists will travel, but for an extra fee. It is extremely convenient and less stressful to have them come to you.

5.
How much do you charge?

If you do not have a particular hair stylist that you go to, make sure to check around for the best prices and more importantly, someone who is interested in doing up-dos. There are more stylists that whimper when they are summoned to do an up-do than ones that embrace it. Be sure to find a stylist that enjoys the process of being part of your big day. That makes it worth every penny!
